The
information accessible here is produced from the Khipu Database, but mimics
the layout of the tabular format first invented by the Aschers. There are
three parts to each set of khipu data: a "Heading" page which
lists overall characteristics of the khipu, including museum number and
cord spacing; "Pendant Detail", which contains specifics about
each pendant and subsubsidiary; and a "Notes" section, where any
other observations are recorded. The different pages are accessed by tabs
at the bottom of the screen. These data are accurate to the best of our
knowledge, but it is always possible that further analysis or re-study may
change the information presented here.
